Ian Fairholm One of my top 10 favourite albums of 2019. Such an energetic, eclectic, melodic, and strange album. Should be much better known than it is.

Sven B. Schreiber (sbs) This "anti-rock musical enterprise", as the Canadian band puts it, surely is an ambitious project, but it doesn't choke on ambition. The music is not dead serious, there are no pompous symphonic arrangements. It's rooted in alternative rock, with obvious influences from art rock, so the unusual tag "avant-indie" given below is quite appropriate. All songs are written by singer and guitar virtuoso Michelle Lecnik, except for "Earth", which is a version of an old folk song named "Fare Thee Well". Favorite track: Twins on Fire.

muschiosauro Loads of creativity, great female vocals with the power to evoke a variety of different moods, much energy, stacks of quirky and invigorating guitar work and plenty of stirring instrumental passages. The record starts off with some truly blazing ideas, then takes a break, only to progress into a stunning, pyrotechnic second half. An audacious, unpredictable and successfully ambitious art rock album. Favorite track: Apocalypse I (the longing).
